    Andrew Weekes  – Proprietor

Andrew is a long time boating enthusiast with extensive marine experience. From ski racing to dive instruction, game fishing to a lifelong love of Moreton Bay and all it offers, Andrew found the opportunity to combine his love of all things boats with the passion he holds for the Gold Coast City Marina and all that it offers the boating community a perfect fit for his strong customer focused mechanical knowledge.

Whether racing, fishing, social skiing or just boating with family, he tends to involve some aspect of boats in almost everything he does, and it’s this passion that benefits My Marine’s clients as his experience and knowledge of just why it is that people own boats, that sets Andrew and his business apart.

Andrew and his family enjoy nothing more than catching up with clients enjoying their boats out on the bay.

    Gryff Ethell  – Workshop Manager

Former owner operator of Lismore Outboard Sales and Service and Veteran Mercury Master Technician, Gryff offers clients the benefits of a lifelong love of all things marine combined with 35 years of Mercury Knowledge.

Having raced everything from Tunnel-deck Bullets to F1 powerboats at the highest levels in the country, Gryff turned his hand to offshore power boat racing, after reaching the dizzying heights of the Riviera/ Maritimo Factory teams, Gryff and his son now compete together in the popular and very competitive 600hp class.

Like most of the members of the My Marine Team, Gryff finds himself out on his family’s boat on the Gold Coast’s beautiful Broadwater enjoying everything it has to offer at every opportunity.

My Marine Service Centre is privileged to retain the services of this passionate marine expert, to ensure that every customer’s vessel gets the most thorough attention possible, ensuring your servicing expectations are always exceeded.

    Paul Fowlds  – Technician

Paul is another of My Marine’s avid offshore racers with multiple Australian Titles under his belt, and it’s this same dedicated winning formula that Paul brings to the workshop every day. Paul prides himself in ensuring the small details are attended to, because it’s the small things that make the big differences. From pick-up and delivery of your vessel from your home to the thorough checks that every vessel goes through before returning home, Paul’s role is to have your entire vessel get serviced, not just the mechanical parts. Bilge pumps, taps, lights, hot water systems, toilet systems, winches and electronics – All checked every boat, every time, ensuring that you get the best opportunity to enjoy your boating time, after time.

    Jo Weekes – Administration

As the business has grown so has the need to ease the administration burden. Jo, as she has done for better than 20 years supports the family businesses with her easy going customer friendly nature, Jo is on hand to ensure that all things administrative are completed ensuring the business runs smoothly.

Jo’s talents don’t stop there, she has been a boatie for over 25 years, having traveled the Queensland coast, in particular countless of weekends on Moreton Bay. Taking the good with the bad in her stride, she is available to share her knowledge of boating from a female perspective. Whether feeding a starving crew (people have been known to travel many miles for her on-water meals) to entertaining both adults and children on the water right down to helping the fairer crew members gain the confidence needed to feel at home on any boat, large or small.

    Nudge – Customer Relations Officer

In integral member of the My Marine Team, Nudge, Andrew’s beloved blue staffie (commonly referred to as GCCM’s steel blue marine wombat) has earned his stripes since moving to GCCM by providing never ending affection to all and sundry. His unscheduled guided tours of GCCM, Riviera and Telwater factories are legendary. Nudge is always happy to assist with his intimate knowledge of the best dining spots in the marina along with the smoko times for each of the tenants’ factories. Taking his role seriously you will quite often see Nudge inspecting the marina whilst riding on scooters, in buggies or his favorite past time lying in the MIDDLE of any of the driveways observing his people tending to your vessels.

A favourite with the kids, Nudge is always happy to provide that necessary diversion while Mum and Dad chat boats with the team!
